A memoir is not a chronological account of your life, but instead must be carefully shaped and tightly themed. What will the structure of your memoir be? There are countless possibilities! Maybe you can use an outside subject, such as travel, literary history, politics, or spirituality to give your memoir a theme and structure.

This panel represents a variety of approaches to these questions and will help you explore ways to answer them for yourself.
