Writers in Residence
The San Miguel Literary Sala “Writers in Residence” program is an annual summer residence program. This year three writers will be invited to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico from June 29 to August 2, 2016. They will all live in a beautiful villa in central San Miguel and work on writing projects. Annual Bilingual Writers’ Conference & Literary Festival
Each February, prominent literary figures, industry insiders and instructors from Mexico, the U.S., and Canada gather in San Miguel for five days of lectures, workshops and special events for readers and writers. Since 2005. SanMiguelWritersConference.org
Annual Teen Creative Writing Workshops
Each year, 60± local teens participate in one of two workshops (ages 12-14; ages 15-19). Winners present their work at the Writers’ Conference and get a donated, free computer.
Sala Literaria Bellas Artes

Annual Writers’ Conference Adult Scholarship Program
Each year, the Literary Sala provides 30± scholarships to Mexican writers and teachers, and underwrites much of the cost of producing the Spanish language track.
