Description

As both writers and readers, we often delve deeply into cultures other than our own. Many of us actually claim several cultures as our own, having grown up or lived in a variety of countries. This panel will discuss such questions as these: What responsibility do you feel to write about your own country? Do you have to be in a country when you are writing about it? Or is it better not to be in that country? Do you have to travel to a country in order to write about it? What motivates you to write about a certain country? With so much global migration going on all over the planet, people bring their stories with them. Is global migration a source for your own stories?
